“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” |
As we enter this fall season of stewardship, we do so with grateful hearts, remembering the words of St. Paul: “God loves a cheerful giver.” Our offering is not driven by duty or pressure, but by joy — the joy that flows from knowing what God has entrusted great blessings to us.
Everything we have — our time, talents, and treasure — really belongs to God. He has blessed us abundantly, not only with daily bread and material provision, but with the far greater gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. In response, we bring to Him our firstfruits — the best and not the leftovers — as a tangible expression of our faith and gratitude. Giving our firstfruits means we trust God to provide for what we need, even as we place Him first in all things. The above verse continues (verse 8).
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work..
Through your faithful and cheerful offerings, the ministry of our congregation continues to flourish: the Gospel is proclaimed, the next generation is nurtured in faith, and those in need experience Christ’s love through acts of mercy. Each pledge reflects our thanksgiving to Christ and a participation in His mission.

We give because God gave first.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” – John 3:16
